Anhydrite
A large, elegant "fan" of very light dove-grey anhydrite crystals, with an amazing sparkling, "sugar" luster on its surface that unfortunately the camera could not pick up. Anhydrite (calcium sulfate) is a close cousin to the famous selenites from this locality (hydrated calcium sulfate). This large fan is complete on the bottom, with just a couple of little pocket contacts on top. Very elegant example of this old classic. Ex. Consie Prince Collection.
