5.0 x 3.3 x 1.2 cm (Specimen); 54.62 carats; 28.42 mm x 21.35 mm (Gem) - Morganite is only found in a few places in the world in good crystals and gems, and before material was discovered in Afghanistan, good crystals were few and far between on the market. This set features a notably large and really attractive "Oval Brilliant" gemstone with a wonderful pink hue and near eye clean clarity. The fact that it's over 50 carats makes all the difference as it's a really impressive investment gem. The crystal is a classic tabular hexagonal example of a Morganite from Pech as it has a broad, lustrous open pinacoidal face that reveals the beautiful internal gemminess and color.
