A STRIKING, 3.0 cm, smoky GEM and unusually twinned cerussite crystal aesthetically set on a very hackly, dark rust-brown crust of goethite from Tsumeb. The elongated, vertical goethite "wall" next to the cerussite is a starkly, complimentary feature. Choice Tsumeb material from the George Elling Collection, which is not diminished by trivial edge wear at the highest corner of the cerussite, as you can see. An old specimen, probably from the upper oxidized zone of this world famous and now-closed mine.
