Is this not a SPECTACULAR stalactite? It is almost entirely composed of sharp, translucent crystals of calcite, like a Christmas tree; with just a thin core of massive stalactite running up the middle (which you can see at the point of detachment on the bottom). Despite the softness of this mineral, this specimen is in PRISTINE condition. You can imagine what it must have looked like if this stalactite had neighbors within the room or vug in which it formed; a sight I would have loved to see! 9 x 5 x 4.5 cm
