This is a complex and very showy CABINET specimen of glassy, translucent crystals of colorless Celestine growing in radial, floral clusters. The first generation of Celestines have chisel terminations, and the largest crystals reach up to 2.1 cm. The second generation are smaller, more prismatic, and absolutely gem clear. As good as the Celestines are, and they ARE good, the piece de resistance of this specimen is the .9 mm Sulfur crystal that sits right in the middle of a radial cluster. When I said 'floral', I meant it! This specimen is very 3-dimensional, and very aesthetic. This classic specimen is from Agrigento, Sicily.
