This is a large, heavy piece, weighing in at around 20 pounds, that is just a really nice, typical example of the "kindey ore" style of hematite, for which this mine was once famous. Now long closed, such specimens only turn up in old collections. This piece is a "normal style," and is just a really nice big example with exceptional dimensionality - at what I think is a very fair price for the size! Joe Budd Photos.
