At first glance, you might think this large, fan-like specimen of crystallized copper is from the recent finds at the Itauz Mine in Kazakhstan. But no, this is actually a CHINESE specimen (China is not known for its coppers, as compared to other minerals). But the Daye Mine has produced such an exciting variety of specimens; it is not surprising that you would see a crystallized copper from here. This large, flat specimen has a delicate, branching structure.
