This is actually a floater cluster of tightly intergrown crystals of spinel, a highly underrated gem species that features good hardness, color and clarity, and should be more respected in the world of fine gems. The largest crystal in this bunch has good gemminess and measures 1.5 cm across the largest face, so there is a lot of size there. Rare in this quality from Vietnam.
