A rarity - large, elongated crystals of native bismuth! Not commonly found in Madagascar, this material was self-collected circa 2005 by a friend of mine while doing fieldwork and exploration for pegmatite deposits in this region of Madagascar. It features dense, dark gray crystals of native bismuth to a whopping 6.3 cm in length. From the Dr. Emanuele Marini Collection (Milan, Italy). I have not seen another like this since.
