A 5.0 cm, euhedral, deep green emerald crystal is frozen in massive green quartz along with fragments of other emerald crystals in this fine specimen from the Carnaiba Mine of Brazil. While these crystals certainly are not as gemmy as good Colombian ones, note that this is an old Brazilian emerald specimen - far rarer. Highly representative of the species and locality.
