This is not Gilgit material but an Afghani aquamarine, and a BIG, FAT and GEMMY one. It is finely terminated and complete all around, with some shallow conchoidal damage on one face only. very clear and gemmy, much more than the pic shows. This fine crystal weighs an impressive 71 grams.
