Arising from a limonite matrix which includes some sparkly .5 cm orange and gemmy hemimorphite crystals, are white dolomite crystals, some few to 4 cm in length. These sharp, sculptural white crystals are classic for the mine, but actually are fairly uncommon on the market in anything but "reference specimens": this is a phenomenal example, though, of the classic stark white rhombohedral form, and large as well. It is complete and 3-dimensional all around. These lustrous crystals have an added bonus: the smaller ones display a thin coating which gives them a brownish- pink color to contrast against the pure white. NOTE: I have always been under the delusion these are calcite but, apparently, they ARE dolomite
