A very rare and unique combination specimen from the Viburnum Trend District. This showy, old-time specimen features glassy, jet-black bitumen (a "solid oil" or hydrocarbon material) scattered amongst a rich covering of lustrous, metallic-gray galena cubes and sphalerite crystals on a vuggy, two-sided matrix of silicified limestone coating with tiny, contrasting, colorless calcite rhombs. The back even features a couple of quartz needles, as a highlight. Ex. George Feist Collection.
