A SUPERB and extremely rich "turkey fat" smithsonite from the famous Monte Cristo Mine of Arkansas. Cadmium-rich yellow smithsonite coats curved, saddle-shaped, dolomite crystals on limestone matrix. COVERAGE on BOTH sides! The back is solid - the front is even better in my opinion with ISOLATED and contrasted crystals 3-D on the matrix. This is one of the best examples of the material I have seen for sale. Ed Ruggiero self-collected collected this prized specimen in 1975. 9.0 x 7.1 x 5.8 cm
