A carpet of mossy-green conichalcite from Mexico - actually with small, translucent scalenohedral crystals if you look closely in addition to brushy patches. Conichalcite (Calcium Copper Arsenate Hydroxide) forms in the oxidation zone of copper ore bodies; the best-known specimens are from Mexico. This is a superb example of this find and style. Ex.
