A large, sharp, glassy, orthorhombic prism of natrolite from the Chimney Rock Quarry at Bound Brook, New Jersey. This fine crystal is from the trap rocks (basalt flows) of the First Watchung Mountains. This is likely an older specimen and it is superb for the gemminess, clarity, and sheer size. Ex.
