The classic "kindey ore" hematite from England (so called because of its frequent similarity to a kindey in form) often forms really unusual and pretty specimens, but only rarely does it have this shocking luster to it - like metal. Probably it is very slightly buffed as so many were by the miners back in the late 1800s and early 1900s when most were collected.
