A 13 and 6mm pair of well-formed, hexagonal, sunburst yellow-orange Mimetite crystals are the centerpiece of an elongate cluster of lemon-yellow Mimetite crystals on a goethitic matrix from the Guatomo Mine, Thailand. The contrast between the lustrous, robust Mimetite crystals and the rich sienna tones of the matrix makes for great contrast! The two main crystals are super lustrous and transparent to translucent and are great for the species, especially so for this limited find and obscure locality between 1996 and 1998. The lemon-yellow crystals in this cluster and distributed about the top of the piece are also gemmy and lustrous. There is some contacting to the back of some of the smaller lemon-yellow Mimetites in the cluster. This is a choice piece, displays nicely and is an excellent example of Mimetite from a highly unusual one time find!
