A classic, fine and rich, color-zoned wulfenite specimen from the Erupcion Mine at Los Lamentos. The highly lustrous, blocky crystals, to 1.0 cm, are called "sandwich style" wulfenites because the two pieces of "bread" (faces) on the outside of the sandwich (crystal) are caramel-colored, while the crystal interior (the meat) is butterscotch-colored. This is not just a flat plate, and has decent 3-dimensionality. This piece is essentially solid wulfenite with a little bit of calcite on the front and endlichite on the back.
