This large and imposing combination piece is from the Minerva Mine. The Calcite wheat sheaf clusters, many of which exceed 4 cm in length, have excellent luster - better than I have seen on other Calcites with this unusual habit. The tan color is pleasing to the eye, and the spread of clusters across the large Fluorite is nicely balanced. Above and beyond the shear quality of the Calcite clusters is the intense, blue-white fluorescence that they have. An added bonus, if you will, to the already very good aesthetics and rarity. Mined in 1991. RCL0804
