This is an exceptional, competition-level miniature of creedite featuring very unusual crystals that are almost pyramidal in form, and look very different from those on any other SE creedite I have seen. It is a striking piece aesthetically, but this difference makes it really stand out from the crowd even more. These were found in the mid 1980s and John Barlow snagged many of them, to build probably the best suite of the find around. This was surely a prized miniature in the collection. I am admittedly unsure what the orange mineral in association is, by the way. In person, this piece is most impressive!
