Each of these minerals is individually common at Tsumeb, to some extent, but I have not seen such a nice combination before with primary malachite associated with dioptase. It is also a very odd style of primary malachite, almost botryoidal to the eye until close inspection shows the crystal rosettes. It is just unique in my experience, and the contrasts are so gorgeous! This piece is just different than most other dioptase specimens, and is primarily a malachite specimen.
