Intense amber-yellow smithsonite from this locality is considered the best color from here. It is rarely seen in this quality. Here, it overlays a previous generation of more typical gray-colored smithsonite. The piece is beautifully 3-dimensional and complete on both sides. 415 grams. Joe Budd photos.
