Intergrown, sharp, cubic Fluorites that are zoned yellow, blue, and purple. The largest Fluorite is 4.4 cm, and the luster is good. Interspersed all around the Fluorites are small clusters of white scalenohedrons of Calcite, which are translucent to gemmy. The Calcites add a lot of visual interest to the piece, and the combination is unusual. Mined in 1988. This is a fine small cabinet specimen with very good and unusual aesthetics that make it stand out in a crowd (at least, its former owner wrote this on his label, and we agree!) RCL1212
