As with the pink fluorites from the same locality, until these creedites were discovered, good crystallized specimens were exceedingly rare and expensive from ANY locality. Suddenly, you could own a really fine creedite without selling your house to get it! BUT THE MINING OF THESE IS NOW FINISHED, we hear from the miners themselves! This is a HUGE specimen, 16 cm across, COVERED with gemmy creedite crystals. (Its form is in fact a series of interconnected dome shapes.) Just imagine seeing something like this at auction before this locality was mined! If you don't have one, better get one fast. 15.8 x 9.3 x 7.2cm
