On a basalt matrix sits an enormous, pristine, lustrous and translucent, bicolored fluorapophyllite crystal, measuring 6.7 cm across. The color grades from a rich green to a faint green. For added beauty there are a few, lustrous, ivory colored stilbite " bow tie" crystals, to 4 cm in length. These crystals are, unusually, a more intense green color when viewed side-on (and those sides are extremely sharp and lustrous!) Also unusually, small white laumontite crystals are in association. From the January 2014 pocket.
