Rhodonite specimens from the Sunnyside Mine of Colorado are rare and are very rarely available. This very showy polished cabinet slab features sparkling, sugary, rose-red rhodonite with small, parallel veins of contrasting sulfides/oxides. Small angled fractures have dispersed the sulfides/oxides into interesting muted patterns in the rhodonite. Older, classic material from the Robert Fender Collection. Unusually rich and well colored.
