Zeolite specimens from Gunjale, Ahmednagar District, are seldom available. This is a very pretty and aesthetic combination specimen. A ball-like, radiating cluster of gemmy, prismatic, blocky, two-toned apophyllite crystals is attractively set with pearlescent, pastel-pink stilbite blades. Yellow color is unusual and there is a hint of it here. The apophyllite style reminds me of the famed "disco ball" apophyllites of 2001 from nearby Rahuri. Ex. Daniel Trinchillo Sr. Collection.
