A totally gemmy, transparent and beautifully blue aquamarine crystal from a very uncommon Vietnam locality. The crystal is partially etched and frosted, which gives the unusual look. The termination, though, is water-clear and you can look straight down the C-axis. A striking specimen. Vietnam aquamarines of this caliber are rare and this is one of the better specimens in a lot I had from a visiting mining engineer. Weighs 10 grams.
