A classic cabinet combination specimen from the Tri-State District of Kansas. Sharp, moderately lustrous, battleship-gray galena cubes to 3.7 cm are scattered on the silicified limestone matrix plate covered with dolomite rhombs. Complimenting the galena cubes are ruby-jack sphalerite crystals to 2.5 cm, an interesting, brecciated matrix fragment and a dusting of sparkly marcasite crystals. Old-time and excellent, large combination material from this renowned locale.
