A fine, old-time Cornwall axinite specimen from the Lord Calvert Collection. This large, old-timer features a very well-placed vug atop matrix filled with lustrous, brown axinite blades up to 1.0 cm. This piece is from a very uncommon Cornwall locality, the Rosevanion Quarry at St. Columbia. Ex. Dr. Mark Feinglos Collection.
