This is a special piece way beyond the normal quality level, one that came to me in the quartz collection of Richard Hauck (1000 pieces, all quartz). The piece features an upright stalk or stalactite, perched in a pocket whose sides are a cast of the geode it must have filled. While I believe this to be natural, and not buffed, one can never rule out that the miners did a little bit of polishing on them. Ex. Richard Hauck Collection.
