Calcite specimens of all sorts of shapes and varieties were saved by miners from the early days at Bisbee, as they had no commercial value and the miners recognized their variety and beauty. This is another out of the Dave Stoudt Collection that had been in the R. Simpson Collection in the 1930s, so it is an old-timer. It is a wonderful piled-up cluster of lustrous calcite crystals with little inclusions of crystalline bright green malachite that give the piece a light pastel green glow.
