This specimen of translucent green fluorite is absolutely fascinating from a crystallographic standpoint; you could look at it for hours. It is a textbook study in the cube modifying to the octahedron. The central crystal is a large octahedral form whose faces appear as hundreds of small cubes, like the pyramids. Around its sides, and surmounting its peak, are beveled cubes.
