A superb, very light blue, doubly-terminated Topaz crystal perched beautifully on a small piece of pegmatite matrix. This is a PERFECTLY proportioned and balance specimen! The 2.5 cm Topaz is perfectly gemmy save for some crazing in the center, and so highly reflective and refractive that it lights up, making it tricky to shoot. It is ten times better in person, even. An absolute killer of a toenail, with aesthetics and balance that can't be beat. From the private collection of dealer Herb Obodda, and long displayed in his exhibits over the years at shows. Complete all around.
