No, this is not a Chinese hemimorphite, but an old-timer from the legendary 79 Mine in Arizona. And a BIG and RICH one at that! Though the 79 Mine has been mined a bit over the past few years and turned up some minor specimens, mostly smithsonites, little aurichalcites and such, nothing like this specimen from the old days has turned up. This is a complete shallow vug covered richly with hemimorphite, decorated with small, delicate rosettes of calcite.
