A superb, rounded mound of lustrous, rich coffee-colored mimetite, to 8 mm in length, exhibits the very best characteristics of Dry Gill mimetite (the heyday for these would have been in the 1800s). Its old English name was "campylite" until it was later realized to be a unique style of mimetite. A superb, 360-degree example, and a rare fine thumbnail of this old material. Likely a very old specimen, though the history has been lost.
