This is a classic gemmy twinned calcite from the Verkhniy, but of extremely high quality, or perhaps the highest, and thus a world class calcite in my book. It is certainly the best of its type I have seen, and I am a calcite collector at heart. It is sharply terminated with a thick, 3-dimensional form. It is undamaged. It has glassy, brilliant luster to it, and it is gemmy as heck...you just could NOT get better for this quality, in this large size range, I think! It is a stunning specimen that, although colorless, really leaps out like a jewel from the disaply case. BETTER In PERSON!
