An eye-catching Fluorite from the Annabel Lee Mine in the Illinois Fluorspar District! Transparent to translucent, purple, lustrous cubes are arranged in cluster where the interiors are deep purple and the rims are just a slightly lighter shade of purple. Bright Calcite crystals are attractively scattered on the Fluorites to augment the beauty of this piece! The Calcite crystals are 3 to 6mm in size and are completely gem and are just dazzling! This is a very aesthetic and well composed piece, unusual even amongst the thousands that came out (and are certainly not commonly on the market today). These mines closed by around 2000, and good collector quality specimens only get harder and harder to obtain.
