A very large, spectacular specimen of superb galena crystals: shiny-metallic, razor-sharp, and piled up in dramatic, architectural forms. The clusters of galena are isolated in places amongst patches of gemmy quartz crystals. They measure to just over 1 cm in size and are much sharper in person. This wonderful large specimen came out of an Eastern European museum collection - the National Museum of Bulgaria in Sophia. Some calcite is associated on the backside.
