A crust of sparkling, cobaltoan smithsonite, with crystals reaching 3 mm across, is the host for an aesthetic cluster of lustrous and translucent, golden crystals of mimetite. The cluster measures over 2 cm across. The mimetites are intergrown artistically with the sparkling smithsonite crystals, but spray up and pop out 3-dimensionally. Very nice! Ex. Charlie Key.
