Outstanding combination specimen from the great mines at Lavrion, Greece. The main Azurite crystal has superb luster, form, and color, and can transmit bright light even with its relative thickness of 2-3 mm. Lavrion is famous for its wide variety of minerals, and the best guess for the associated minerals here are Malachite (green sprays) and Calcite (complex, gem-clear, colorless crystals). The pics give a fill appreciation of just how aesthetic this thumbnail is. From a shocking, small find of 2018.
