A showy and pretty specimen of lustrous, botryoidal, pink smithsonite on banded, colorless smithsonite from Choix, Sinaloa, Mexico. This is an old-time specimen from the Richard Hauck Collection, as his label says the piece is from Alamosa, Sonora, Mexico. The true locality was still a secret, at that time. 8.0 x 6.7 x 2.5 cm
