Most people are familiar with the Copper pseudomorphs after Aragonite from this locality, but to find free native Copper is rather rare in my experience. This "sheet" of partially crystallized Copper is a fine specimen from this historic locality. It has a gorgeous blue-green association of Malachite with spots of reddish-black Cuprite and a few areas with bright Copper crystals exposed. These pieces started to trickle out around October of 2007, and this piece is one of the better samples of this material that I have handled.
