This is a very fine, large, 5.9 cm across, doubly terminated, lustrous and translucent bicolored green crystal of fluorapophyllite which is aesthetically emplaced on a matrix of weathered basalt and quartz druse. It is wreathed at the base by a few, lustrous, ivory colored stilbite crystals, to 3 cm across. These crystals are, unusually, a more intense green color when viewed side-on (and those sides are extremely sharp and lustrous!) Also unusually, small white laumontite crystals are in association. From the January 2014 pocket.
