Burma has produced some amazing Spinel specimens in recent years, but few of them reach this size, ESPECIALLY on matrix. Spinel Crystal: 5.5 x 4.2 x 3.8 cm! This piece features a whopper of Spinel crystal (over 2 inches!) which is complete on all sides, showing a beautiful red hue, and is translucent in areas. The crystal is aesthetically sitting on contrasting white marble matrix. Ex. Richard A. Kosnar Collection.
