Incredibly deep maroon, glassy, richly-colored disc-shaped crystals to 1 cm drape the entire upper portion of this specimen, and it is just gorgeous in person. It is very 3-dimensional, more so than the pic can convey, and is simply MUCH more dramatic and deeply colored than others I have seen recently. The crystals are almost gemmy in fact: these crystals really make the piece leap out from a showcase and impact you with color. I cannot rave enough. I was just blown away by it (in person, you'll see!)
