Perched on a sliver of matrix, these equant, ivory-colored crystals of Aragonite var. Tarnowitzite, to 9 mm, display quite nicely. Not glamorous, I have always found Tarnowitzite to be a surpringly attractive variety of Aragonite, having a beauty all its own.
