Cuprite
This is a lovely large thumbnail composed mostly of pristine, well formed octahedrons of metallic and slightly translucent, dark red cuprite to 1.5 cm in length. The back side has a small spot of contact where it grew from its source, but this does not affect the display side of the specimen and the piece is otherwise complete all around. A fine thumbnail cluster, for this find, of high quality. Note there is minor silver attached.
