The finest benitoite crystals are often judged to be those that display all points of the triangular crystal up in the air and freestanding, at least for thumbnails where you might reasonably obtain one. This piece features a perfect triangle at 1.6 cm on edge, indeed! Each tip is fully exposed and sharp. The color is excellent, not too dark nor too light. Although complete, we are finding a thin line of potential repair on the left-most corner, with a tiny bit of restoration seen at the hairline crack under UV light, so we will label this repaired with minimal restoration - that does not detract visually in the slightest. The overall impact is very high, as the crystal presents so sharply up on a natural pedestal of matrix.
